Their cow Shamrock Rose, donated to the school by the Shamrock Shorthorns Stud Tipperary was excellently prepared by the students and all were thrilled when she won 1st place in the Female shorthorn, 1st in the Interbreed female and the ultimate prize of Supreme beef exhibit of the Boorowa show.
The students were proud to explain that they were taught how to lead a cow, groom to show standards and best ways to feed and care for her.
They are also proud that they developed their own techniques as to different ways to walk and present the cow to it’s best show advantage.
