The sport star helped local bowlers improve their technique, with John Crowe saying he was very well-received.
“He showed us what to do and what was very interesting was that he was saying bowls is virtually all mental- you’ve got to get your brain right before you begin,” he said.
Around 20 bowlers benefited from almost three hours of coaching by Leif, who may return again in the future.
“He was very impressed with the bowling green and he said he’d return and see how we’re going at some stage,” John said.
Selby has had a stellar international career, including being the first person to have won all three world singles titles: the 2012 World Championships singles, the 2008 World Champion of Champions, and the 2009 and 2010 World Cup crowns.
