Jock got a late call up to tour after a strong performance against Samoa before the team departed.
Jock started his rugby, along with many Boorowa boys, with the Yass juniors, playing in the Canberra competion.
He continued playing through high school as scrumhalf and was selected in the first XV since he was 16 and that year as vice captain of NSW schools 1st XV, going on to win the Australian schools championship.
In 2011, Jock was selected as captain of Australian A, playing against England and New Zealand schools in Australia.
This year, Jock is studying and playing at Sydney University, where he is developing his game in to a dual role as scrumhalf and flyhalf for the colts 1st XV.
Being in the ARU academy since the under 16s, Jock is grateful for the faith that Australian Rugby has shown to him and pleased that he can return the faith with some
strong performances including the u20s opener where he
came off the bench as scrum-half, with the team defeating Scotland 57-12. He and his team mates are hoping that they can make the final on June 22 and put up a strong game for Australia.
