At the very successful K-12 twilight swimming carnival last Wednesday evening, the crowd of parents, supporters and swimmers was thrilled to witness Michael Hinds breaking three records, two of which were long standing records held since 1983 and 1984.
Michael Hinds was accredited with the following records.
* 15 boys 200IM - Michael set a new record of 3.05.46 breaking John Dunn’s 2006 time of 3.12.20.
* 15 boys 50 m freestyle - Michael set a new record of 28.75 breaking Grant Brewer’s 1983 time of 29.70
* 15 boys 50m butterfly - Michael set a new time of 33.02 breaking Paul Corcoran’s 1984 time of 33.99
