Swimmers unfazed by cool weather

08 Dec, 2011 04:32 PM
The cooler weather did not deter swimmers on Friday night for Swimming Club.

As an added bonus to their swims this week, seven swimmers were presented with certificates for their achievements so far this swim season.

These youngsters have swum times that qualify them to be moved up from the 25m races to the 50m races.

Amelia Hewitt, Jai Allison and Hayden Hewitt all achieved this in freestyle, Jayden Cutting in butterfly, Katlyn Elliott in both backstroke and freestyle.

Toby McGrath and Adam Hinds have achieved this fantastic result in all four strokes! Congratulations swimmers, a great effort to achieve this just four weeks into our season!

The club would like to wish members swimming in the Young carnival this weekend the very best. We certainly hope for nicer weather than what we got in Cowra!
