Swimmers speed through Wagga races

02 Feb, 2012 03:09 PM
Nine swimmers and their families from Boorowa Amateur Swimming Club travelled to Wagga on Sunday for a big day of swimming.

The day was off to a great start with Brock Ritchie swimming in the very first race and bringing home a 3rd place medal in the 800m freestyle.

This was closely followed by both Ben Davis and Mick Hinds placing 3rd in their 50m breaststroke medal events.

Ben also swam himself to a 200m breaststroke medal.

Adam Hinds set a personal best in his 50m breaststroke race, while Lleyton Allison swam a fantastic 50m freestyle. Jack Hinds and Olivia Gay swam strongly all day with consistent times.

Jai Allison swam great races against kids a lot bigger than him and Max Gay powered through his 50m backstroke.

All swimmers had a fantastic day, performed well and represented Boorowa excellently. Congratulations to each and every one of you.
