Goldies in home grand final

04 Sep, 2009 07:27 AM
This Saturday the Boorowa Goldies will do battle in a home grand final against Bungendore, who defeated Crookwell 12-8 last Saturday.

The game will get under way at 2.30pm.

It should prove to be a great spectacle, with the other games against Bungendore this season being closely contested matches.

There will be a limited number of Supporters T-shirts available at the game, but we would urge everyone to wear something gold to show their support for the Goldies.

The Boorowa Club continued its outstanding season on Friday night at the ACT Rugby Union Presentation Dinner in Canberra.

The Boorowa team was awarded the Minor Premiership trophy and team captain, Richard Manion, was awarded the Best and Fairest Trophy for Monaro Division.

The Club would like to thank the Boorowa community for their great support this season and encourage everyone to come on board for one last game!

The boys would love to see decorated shops, cars, letterboxes, and houses.

Please join us Saturday for a huge game of rugby and a great night at the Ex-Services Club to follow.
