Goldies too good for RMC
15 Jul 10 | Boorowa Rugby club have clawed their way back into second position on the Monaro Rugby Union table with a solid performance against the pride of Australia, the Royal Military College (RMC), at home on Saturday.
Gold go cold in second half
27 May 10 | The old cliché of ‘A game of two halves’ was never more apparent then on Saturday when the Goldies took on Jindabyne at home. The large ladies day crowd were treated to an outstanding display of controlled rugby by the men in Gold who totally dominated the first half however the second stanza was evenly matched.
Golden muzzle placed on Blue Heelers
06 May 10 | Boorowa Rugby Club has started their quest for back to back premierships with a five tries to one bonus point win over a solid Blue Heelers XV at Crookwell on Saturday. This was the side’s first run this season, apart from their international during their New Zealand tour in March, and has left the side itching for more rugby.
29 Apr 10 | This weekend marks the start of the 2010 rugby season with the Boorowa Goldies travelling to Crookwell for their first hit out against the Dogs. Kick of will be at the normal time of 2 30pm.
Rovers too strong for Crookwell
22 Apr 10 | In a much-anticipated return to the Boorowa Showground, the Rovers hosted the Crookwell Green Devils to a very entertaining game of rugby league on Saturday afternoon. After a disappointing start to the season last week, the Rovers were hell bent on putting up a much-improved performance on their home turf.
Rovers go down to Brahmans in opening round
16 Apr 10 | The Boorowa Rovers travelled to Binalong on Saturday for their opening round clash against the Binalong Brahmans. In what was anticipated to be a walk in the park for the home side, the Rovers went into the game thinking they could improve on their recent trial against the Brahmans in which they were beaten very convincingly.
Goldies looking forward to 2010
12 Mar 10 | The Boorowa Rugby Club are gearing up for another busy year, with players already in training for the upcoming season. A highlight of the pre season will have the Goldies touring to New Zealand, leaving on Thursday, 18 March and returning on Thursday, 25 March.

03 Dec 09 | On the back of a successful 2009 season, many aspects of Boorowa Rugby Union Clubs’ 2010 season are well and truly organised. Apart from the Clubs hope for back to back premierships, the club will also conduct an overseas tour in the pre-season to the South Island of the Shaky Isles, New Zealand.

04 Sep 09 | This Saturday the Boorowa Goldies will do battle in a home grand final against Bungendore, who defeated Crookwell 12-8 last Saturday. The game will get under way at 2.30pm.

Goldies perform for home crowd
30 Jul 09 | To the one thousand supporters gathered at Boorowa Showground on Saturday it may have appeared that the home side cruised to an easy win over their Crookwell opponents considering the 53 points to 24 score line. Unbeknown to many, with only twenty minutes remaining in the match, Crookwell trailed the 2009 minor premiers by only 5 points at 29-24.
Devils gilded by Goldie’s
16 Jul 09 | Boorowa Goldie’s are now only a few wins from securing a certain place in the final series for the Monaro Rugby Competition. Following a solid win against Harden last weekend the Goldie’s have only four matches remaining before the final series, one of which is against ANU at home this weekend.

09 Jul 09 | Boorowa Rugby Club faced their toughest challenge this season on Saturday at Bungendore. The Bungendore Mudchooks looked every bit a Rugby side and have now shown that they are serious contenders for this season’s premiership.

04 Jun 09 | A 5 - 0 deficit at half time was cause for a few anxious thoughts for the large crowd at the Boorowa Showground on Saturday. The Taralga Tigers may sit on the bottom of the table, but they certainly showed Boorowa they can ill afford to take any side in this competition to lightly. The first half was exciting.
Goldies steal Devil’s souls
14 May 09 | A chance intercept try was the sole opportunity provided to the Harden Red Devils by Boorowa on Saturday. Despite playing in the knowledge that the rest of Boorowa were rubbing shoulders and bending elbows at the Picnic Races, the Boorowa XV humbly continued to fly the flag for the community’s sporting endeavours for 2009 with another solid display of running Rugby.
Goldies off to flying start
07 May 09 | Boorowa Ruby Union Club has commenced its quest for a premiership in the Clubs 40th year in fine style. On Saturday afternoon the Boorowa XV ran out convincing winners over last year’s Minor Premiers the Bungendore Mudchooks.
