Hard work pays off for Hinds

08 Jul, 2010 08:26 AM
Mick Hinds has been part of the successful under 13’s group 9 representative team.

The team comprises of players from all the clubs in the group 9 region including Boorowa, Harden, Young, Cootamundra, Gundagai, Temora, Albury and Wagga.

Mick was selected with two of his teammates, Jared Prosser and Justin Stewart, from the Harden/Boorowa under 13’s team.

All three boys travelled to Junee weekly for training for the last 10 weeks.

The boys travelled to Dubbo last weekend to compete in the CRL Championship cluster for under 13 and 14 teams.

They played a total of three games, one of which was played under lights on Saturday night in very chilly conditions.

The team’s hard work paid off when they won all three games defeating teams from groups 10, 11 and 20 taking out the championship shield.
