The Goldies are back in action for the 2006 season that kicked off with a trial game against Young last Friday night.
The boys went down three tries to one in a game suited to this time of the season, refereed by Bruce Nixon.
Coach Faulx said it was a good solid hit out that dusted off the cobwebs and will build momentum for this Friday night's trial against Crookwell.
