On August 2 there were six bowlers who enjoyed playing bowls at the Recreation Club.
The conditions were good and the green was running well.
This was a Triples game.
The winners were Patrick Beadman, Thelma Gorham and Graeme Chown.
On August 9 there were 14 bowlers to enjoy the warm conditions at the Recreation Club for Sunday bowls.
Winners were Tom Horton and Leon Downey
Runners up were Mike Coombes, Velma Cranston and Graeme Chown.
Losers draw went to Tony Beadman and Nev Thurtell.
Resting Toucher was won by Velma Cranston.
The bowlers welcomed Jennifer Hall and Robyn Hobson as new bowlers this week
New bowlers are always welcome and can borrow bowls from the Recreation Club.
Bowlers are asked to have names in by 10.15am for a 10.30 start.
