Bowlers to double up this year

10 Feb, 2012 02:43 PM
The Boorowa Mens Bowling Club has proudly informed the South West District that it will field two teams in the 2012 pennants.

With now over 30 members the Club will be graded in fours after winning the fives in 2011.

They will play against Harden, Young and Cootamundra Ex - Services.

The second team will be in the sevens and will play Stock, Bribbaree and the ex-services.

The 2012 season will commence on Sunday, March 4 running for five weeks and then having the Easter break followed by the last round.

If you are unable to play any of these games then you must inform one of the selectors ASAP.

The draw is on the bowlers board on the verandah of the club.

Two trials will be held at the Recreation Club and all players are required to attend.

The first one being this Saturday at 5pm.

The second one will be Sunday, February 19 at 1pm. We will be having a sausage sizzle followed by bowls.

The Club sincerely thanks all new members and comeback kings helping out for the 2012 season and wish all the best of luck.
