On Saturday evening January 8, 17 golfers played an Ambrose Event to begin the 2012 summer golf season.
Scores were Dave Bedford, Richard Manning and Cliff Workman 33 net 26, Brian Smith and Brett Watts 35 net 30, Robert Dunwoodie, Peter Glover and Paul Walsh 37 net 30.
The remaining two groups did not enter completed cards in the golf book.
Next Saturday afternoon, golfers will play a stroke event for the Peter Robinson Trophy with tee-off from 4pm.
With the new grass greens playing well, all golfers are welcome to play on Saturday evenings. Grounds-man Les Fitzgerald has the golf course in top shape.
