Touch and netball carnival

01 Nov, 2007 07:20 AM
With the timely help of Mother Nature sending a downpour of rain the night before, Friday 26th October, dawned as a glorious day on which to hold a Touch & Netball Carnival and Boorowa did, in its usual great style. More than 3,500 students, staff, parents, coaches and a myriad of community members streamed into the Boorowa Showground to participate in and run one the most successful carnivals of its kind.

Organisers are thrilled with how smoothly the day ran and this is in no small part due to the tireless work of a willing band of parents and citizens from Boorowa Central School and St Josephs Primary School auxiliaries. They, together with volunteers from across the community, made sure the throng in attendance were fed and watered right to the end.
