On Saturday Michael Nash and Tim Poplin contested the final of the Boorowa Golf Club Handicap Match Play. In a close contest Michael forged ahead to win the 2007 Final 4 and 3. Tim Poplin, despite this loss, won a Club Trophy from Michael Nash. Michael continued his good form on Sunday, winning the club trophy with 81 net 57. Runner-up was junior golfer Dylan Poplin, with 87 net 60. Michael won a ball for nearest the pin on the ninth green.
