In a change from the usual Mixed Canadian event on Men’s Golf Closing Day, Ladies played the men in a combined stableford teams event. The ladies were clear winners with 303 points to 275 points. Individual ladies winner was Helen Picker with a massive 48 stableford points, with Wendy Tuckerman runner-up with 45 stableford points. Wendy was also a ball winner for nearest the pin on the third hole. Mens winner was Brian Smith in a countback from Robert Styles. both finishing with 42 stableford points. Other individual scores were Steve Hewitt 41 points, Jamey Taylor and Kate Crisp 40 points, Robert Taylor and Christopher Mason 38 points, and Jill Adams and Helen Aldersey 37 points. Trophies won on the day and throughout the season were presented by Golf Club Captain, Robert Styles and Cliff Workman, following afternoon tea.
