C Grimson 31 d L Murphy 21; L Downey 31 d B Luxford 21; N Thurtell 31 d T Horton 8; D Murphy 31 d P Smart 16.

Last Thursday social bowls resulted with a win to Les Murphy with 12 points closely followed by Pat Corcoran and Mick O’Dea on 11. The win enabled John Crowe to take out the monthly point score with 37 1/2 points, second was Mick O’Dea on 35 and Gary Dwyer 33 ran third. 22 bowlers were involved over the January event.

Next Saturday a Pennant Trial has been arranged against Harden at Harden and anyone wishing to participate is asked to put their name on the list on the notice board. All intending pennant players are asked to try and make the list as all players will be catered for on the day.

Last Saturday the team of Dick Mattress, John Crowe and Darryl Murphy represented the Club at Stockinbingal President’s Day and won the day with two good wins.

Twilights kicked off last night with a full green of 14 teams.
