Young won the toss and elected to bat; Lauren Jenkins opened the bowling for Boorowa and took two early wickets in her first over. The Young batters took advantage of the cool weather and steadily accumulated the runs, Boorowa’s bowling remained consistent with Will Stanley, George Chudleigh, Vinnie Ryan and Jack Stanley bowling a good line making the Young players work hard for their runs. The end of the innings saw a wicket each to Sam Beath and Michael Croker who both bowled some solid deliveries. In his first game Hamish Gledhill took a nice catch in the out field. At the end of their innings Young had a handy total of 84.
