This year was a very successful season with the introduction for the first time in a lot of years of two Boorowa open teams.
The introduction of these two teams is an indication of the health of cricket in Boorowa.
It was several seasons ago through discussions between senior and junior committees it was decided that we would try a switch to the young comp.
This had benefits to both organisations.
This has seen the competition grow in Boorowa and we can now again field two competitive teams.
Well done to the Greens for making it to the grand final, and I am sure the team will be stronger for the experience.
Who knows what next season will bring for Boorowa cricket, hopefully the two teams battling it out in the grand final.
There were many standout performances this year, but we must remember that these individual performances would not be possible without the support of the entire team and I would like to congratulate all players this year who played making it a great year of cricket.
