Record breaking crowds flooded Boorowa this weekend to experience the annual Irish Woolfest. Up to 18,000 people are believed to have participated in what is rapidly becoming a premier festival event.
There was colour, music, comedy, magic, dancing and sheep. Lots and lots of sheep. There was sheep shearing and sheep paintings and sheep running. Ok, well not so much ‘running’ as meandering gently up Marsden Street as if on a Sunday stroll.
