The search is on for Boorowa's most inspiring woman

13 Jan, 2012 09:18 AM
Each year a resident of Boorowa is chosen as the Most Inspiring Local Woman to be presented with an award at the International Women’s Day this year to be held on Sunday, March 11 at the Boorowa Ex-Services Club.

Marg Rose won the inaugural award.

Other recipients include Kay Nash, Alma Corkhill, Wendy Tuckerman and Dawn Barton.

Do not think someone else will do it.

There are so many amazing women in Boorowa who deserve recognition and this is a special opportunity each year to congratulate such women.

Any woman can be nominated including those who are employed.

The criteria is that you find them “Inspirational”.

Please collect a Nomination Form from a local business house or contact Janene Hurley on 6385 1330.

Completed form to be returned to Boorowa Tourism and Development Office, PO Box 94, Boorowa NSW 2586 by Tuesday, February 14.
