Rugby Club lends a hand to local cadets

20 Jan, 2012 11:38 AM
The Boorowa Rugby Club has continued its involvement in the community with a donation to the local Cadets.

Cadets secretary Fiona Allison said the donation was very much appreciated and thanked the Rugby club for its generosity.

New Rugby Club President Justin Fleming said it is very keen to be closely associated with the community and to lend a hand if possible.

He said he is looking forward to an exciting 2012 season both on and off the field, with the club planning its annual charity Ladies Day as well as other social events.

The Rugby club also has a new coach for the 2012 season, Ben Johnson, who is looking forward to the challenge and is very encouraged by the number of players already on board.

Training will start on Friday 3 February at 6.30pm at the Rec Oval.

If anyone is interested in playing for the Goldies please ring Ben (0428850550) or Justin (0429820398) for more information.
