Many years of commitment to the Boorowa community has been well awarded to local resident Leon Barton.
His contribution to Boorowa over the last 28 years as Station Commander of the New South Wales Fire Brigade was celebrated at a prestigious ceremony at he Sydney Town Hall on Monday April 3.
Mr Barton has supported the Boorowa community while dedicating his time to organisations including the Swimming Club, Woolfest, junior rugby league and netball carnivals, Boorowa Community Transport, Boorowa Day Care Centre and Meals on Wheels.
