Land values up 150 per cent

27 Jan, 2006 08:13 AM
The New South Wales Valuer General, Mr Philip Western has just issued an increase between 110 and 150 per cent in residential land values within the town of Boorowa.

Land across the Boorowa shire in all zonings has increased over the latest valuation period of 12 months.

Mr Western outlined that the increases were off a very low base of the 2004 land valuations.

While there have been value increases throughout the Boorowa shire, the largest increases have been in the town areas.

Valuations are based upon independent valuers interpretation of the local market conditions prevailing as at the valuation date of July 1, 2005.
