One of the highlights for St Patrick’s Church will have to be the ordination to the Permanent Deaconate of local Patrick Whale, who is the husband of Fran Whale who manages the St Vincent Shop in Boorowa.
It has taken Deacon Patrick Whale over four years of study to be ready for ordination and he was ordained by Archbishop Mark Coleridge in front of a church full of family and friends including representatives of the other religions in Boorowa
During the ceremony the Choir from St Joseph’s School accompanied Bede Morrissey and the M and D choir in leading the singing for the celebration.
