Visitors came from Canberra, Sydney, the South Coast, Canowindra, Grenfell and local areas to assist Lesley in marking this significant milestone.

Among the gathering were her brothers Lloyd (Narrawallee) and Derrick (Boorowa) and members of their families.

Also present was long-time neighbour Jill Hodgson, and her husband Allan, from Grenfell.

Lesley spent a greater part of her life on the family property ‘Amerton’ on the Kenyu Road and now lives in Burrowa Cottage, part of the Boorowa Retirement Complex.

She was a keen gardener in earlier years and in more recent times acquired the urge to travel and enjoyed many extensive overseas trips.

Lesley continues to be a faithful and regular worshipper at St John’s Anglican Church.

It was indicated on Sunday that she still enjoys good health and many good wishes were extended to her for this to continue for many years.

Friends and relatives shared with Lesley, and with each other, memories of many enjoyable times of the past, and expectations for the future.
