Boorowa’s ‘Most Inspiring Woman’

The second year of Boorowa’s ‘Most Inspiring Woman’ awards has once again proved to be a watershed event in the local calendar. With over 140 in attendance, the day was filled with stories, shared experiences and information. From a field of 12 nominees – all worthy of the title – Kay Nash was named Boorowa’s Most Inspiring Woman for 2008. Integrity, enthusiasm and compassion are just some of the qualities to describe Kay. Kay’s passion for life is infectious. Kay has not only cared for people emotionally, physically and spiritually she has inspired many people to bounce back, participate and feel part of life again. She has an exceptional disposition that makes community nursing look easy. As a community nurse specialist Kay gives her heart and soul in caring for others. She goes above and beyond her call of duty. No situation is too hard for Kay and she will always find a way to help those in need. Kay is a ray of sunshine and has the ability to make every single person she meets feel special. She has been involved in many community organisations and can only be described as a most inspiring woman.
