Boorowa residents urged to dig deep
The horrific bushfires that have ravaged Victoria during the last few days have affected all Australians.
Local Red Cross members will be taking donations at the front of the IGA supermarket on Wednesday and Thursday, February 11 and 12 to raise funds locally to support the fire victims.
While the extent of this disaster is beyond comprehension 100 per cent of all funds donated will go towards rebuilding people’s lives.
Local Red Cross workers are assuring the public that no administrative fees will be deducted by Red Cross.
The Boorowa district is well known for its generosity and it is expected that this will continue to be so as this disaster unfolds and the fires continue to burn.
For those unable to be in Boorowa on Wednesday or Thursday, Red Cross Donations can be made by calling 1800 811 700 or by accessing The Red Cross website www.redcross.org.au
