Boorowa digs deep

04 Jun, 2009 07:14 AM
The Boorowa community can always be relied on to dig deep for any worthwhile cause and last weekend was no exception.

The Can Assist luncheon, held on Saturday raised $2,848 to assist cancer patients in the region.

The audience were entertained by Lexine Solomon’s and Janette Blundell’s singing and Bede Morrisey’s poetry and enjoyed a superb two course luncheon.

There were 130 people present for the function to support such a wonderful cause.
