26 Mar 09 | The Touch Grand Finals were held on Thursday, March 19 and the Boorowa Touch Football Association held its presentation night on Saturday, March 21 at the Boorowa Ex-Services Club.
A Grade Champions this year were the Top Pub team who defeated the Ram and Stallion team, 5 touchdowns to 3, in a very fast and entertaining game.
26 Mar 09 | Wyangala Village is getting ready to fight over the proposed closure of the Dam Road, which will cut the village in half.
At the moment residents wanting to get from one side of the village to the other simply drive across the Dam Road, but if the road closure goes ahead, Wyangala residents face a 40-50 minute drive on a road that in places is not wide enough for two trucks to pass each other.

12 Mar 09 | The secondary swim team that competed at the Western Swimming Qualifying trials on Wednesday, March 4 have once again have done their school proud with some major accomplishments in the pool. Swimming against a record 377 competitive swimmers from 40 schools in the western area, the Boorowa team of 10 put in some very credible performances.
12 Mar 09 | The Honourable Ms Julia Gillard has announced that Boorowa Central School is to receive funding to build and equip a Trade Training Centre.
The VET subjects of Construction and Metals and Engineering will be delivered in the Centre and it is hoped that the Centre will be up and running for the first term in 2010.
