Having lost the toss and been asked to field, the locals struggled to contain the visitors after what could at best be described as an ordinary bowling performance from the majority of the attack.

“This is the third trip where I have prepared papers and represented CWLA at the UN” Thora said.
The Theme for 2009 is “The equal sharing of responsibilities between women and men, including care giving in the context of HIV/AIDS”.

Mrs Gay (pictured) has been a teacher for 18 years of which the last six have been at Boorowa Central School, she has also taught in Sydney, Perth and Young.
12 Feb 09 | As part of the sixth NRL Community Carnival 107 players visited 80 communities from Darwin to the Mornington Peninsula with Boorowa the lucky last community visited.
Boorowa Central School hosted Terry Campese, (Raiders) who was in the World Cup, Scott Logan (Raiders), Brett Morris (Dragons), the son of Steve Morris, Ricky Thorby (Dragons) and from the Eels, Josh Cordoba and Kevin Kingston.
12 Feb 09 | Five men from the Boorowa area have travelled to Victoria to assist in the bushfire emergency with John Barton, Captain of the Boorowa Fire Brigade, Chris Riles and Sean Barton of the Boorowa Fire Brigade while Andrew Southwell, Rye Park Fire Brigade Captain and Greg Mason of the Rural Fire Service travelling to the area.

The boys coached by Pat Dwyer are the Minor Premiers and Grand Final winners of the Secondary (Years 7-10) Division Young Junior Cricket Competition 2007/08 season.
