31 Oct 08 | A tradition that Boorowa has held for the last 43 years, once again saw an influx of local and out of town students compete in the annual Touch Netball Carnival.
The Boorowa Showground was turned into a busy playing field with students from St Joseph’s School marking out a number of netball courts and touch playing fields to cater for the close to 3000 students from across NSW and the ACT.

Certainly one of the biggest events in Boorowa, and arguable one of the biggest carnivals of its type anywhere, the netball and touch carnival generally involves approximately 3,000 students who play.
17 Oct 08 | BOOROWA Central School will host a public speaking competition next Tuesday, with schools from across the Riverina taking part.
The competition began in 1994 as a project for Boorowa students and has progressed from there, to now include students from Henry Lawson in Grenfell, Cootamundra, Young, Harden, Yass, Boorowa and Cowra.
